Olympic Gold Quest: Encouraging Dreams!

You will agree that India has enormous potential to achieve more success in the world of sport than it has thus far. Despite the best efforts of the Government of India, our athletes come up short – often because athletes have not been able to focus on their training without being distracted by shortage of funds and facilties.

Olympic Gold Quest believes it can make a difference. We do not want to stand by and watch athletes having to wait for clearances and miss making a mark at the highest level because they have not been supported at the right time. Olympic Gold Quest aims to assist potential Olympic medal talent in India to achieve its dream.

Who can understand the need of the athletes better than world champions Prakash Padukone and Geet Sethi? And who can add professionalism to Indian sport more than the best corporate heads? At Olympic Gold Quest, the coming together of these creates a platform to help achieve the country's Olympic Dream.

Olympic Gold Quest aims to scout for sports talent that can go on to win Olympic games gold medals, identify areas of support for each athlete and work with all stakeholders in the process of aiding the deserving talent.

We have already made a beginning by helping ace shooter Gagan Narang of Hyderabad and 800m runner Tintu Luka, who is from Usha School of Athletics. We are in the process of identifying more talent so that we have a substantial number of athletes competing in the 2012 Games in London. We believe you can join us in our quest of this dream of ours.
